Hetman FAT Recovery is an application that helps you recover deleted or corrupted files.
Firstly, this tool works only with FAT, FAT16 and FAT32 file systems. The program can recover data from USB flash drives, memory cards or hard disks.

It has a pleasant interface and all its functions are in sight. The home page greets you with a Startup Wizard which analyses the drives that you select. It gives you an ability to choose between a full analysis and a fast scan. Once the scan is finished, the application displays the deleted or corrupted files marked with a red sign. If you have lots of files and you can’t find the right one, it also has an advanced search function. In order to recover the data, this tool offers you 4 methods. You can save the files on the hard disk, burn to a CD/DVD, create an ISO virtual image or upload them to an FTP client.

But when the recovery process should start, the application asks you to purchase and register the product. I think that the developers should have mentioned this important issue right from the beginning. I don't even have the possibility to test the program and verify if it fulfills my desires. I want to be sure that the buying product does exactly what I need, so I wouldn't waste my money on it. I dislike this type of applications that ask for money in the final stage without announcing this fact and I don't consider them to be trustworthy.

To sum up, I think this program has lots of nice features and it's quite easy to use. But, because of that huge restriction in the trial version, it limits your abilities to use it.
